REQ — Quebec Enterprise Registry
The REQ is the public state registry for corporations, cooperatives, and other legal entities registered in Quebec. It is managed by the Registraire des entreprises.

### Why it matters in diligence A REQ extract reveals a company's trade names — critical information for a complete RDPRM search. A company operating under three trade names may have hypothecs filed on the RDPRM under each of those names. Without the REQ extract, you risk missing securities.
